Writing Program
The Penn State Abington Writing Program serves all students who complete required first-year or 200-level writing courses for GWS General Education credit. We also offer a Writing Minor that serves as a useful complement to any major. It allows students to prepare for a range of jobs by taking courses in editing or in creative, business, digital, technical, journalistic, or academic writing.
We offer courses that provide one-to-one support to writers enrolled in first-year writing courses. We organize numerous campus events involving writing, for instance the National Day on Writing event that takes place every October.
